Associate Professor at Baoshan University | China
Mr. Dongqiang zhang is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at Baoshan University, where he serves as Vice Dean of the School of Art Design and Jewelry and leads the Environmental Design program. He earned his doctoral degree from Dalian University of Technology and has developed a distinguished academic and professional profile in planning and design education. His experience includes leadership as a Yunnan Provincial Teaching Master in Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education, head of the province’s inaugural demonstration teaching team in this area, leader of the Dianxi Mountainous Rural Planning and Design Research Innovation Team, and member of the Urban and Rural Planning Design Project Review Expert Panel of Baoshan City. His research interests focus on urban–rural and regional planning theories, methodologies, and technical sciences. He has authored multiple monographs and peer-reviewed publications, led several provincial and municipal research projects, and directed numerous urban–rural planning practices integrating village planning, regulatory coordination, and conservation-oriented development.
